What's wrong with this picture?

I can't believe I nearly had the pocket sewn, never mind that I glued it into place, before I realized that I completely forgot to edge and topstitch the top of the pocket! I know better than to try to sew after a long workday. I'm going to bed. I'll try it again tomorrow.

  1. You're allowed a mistake. No sewing for me tonight either. I organized my fabric and I think I'm getting ready to trace a pattern.

  2. This has happened to me so many times. So frustrating. Those times when I finished the top edge of the pocket, I just leave it.

  3. At least you caught it in time to fix it! These jeans are looking good!!!

  4. The jeans look very nice. I'm glad you caught the mistake. It wouldn't have been such a big deal though.

  5. Well, as problems go, this isn't too bad. It's fixable and they will look great afterwards! Feel better?

  6. Sewing when one is tired...been there and made many a goof! At least you caught it in time and can pick the stitches out and do your hem topstitching and reapply the pocket. It will all be good and you will have a nice pair of jeans before you know it!
